Padre Pio the Confessor 11"
This 11-inch Padre Pio the Confessor statue depicts St. Pio of Pietrelcina in his role as confessor, the ministry to which he gave long hours nearly every day at San Giovanni Rotondo. A Capuchin friar who bore the stigmata for fifty years, Padre Pio read souls, urged frequent confession and prayed constantly for the penitents who waited to see him. Canonized in 2002, he is honored on September 23, and many healings are attributed to his intercession.
Its 11-inch size fits a home altar, prayer corner or bookshelf, and it is a meaningful gift for a priest, a parish confessor, a Padre Pio prayer group or anyone returning to the sacrament of reconciliation.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
