Perpetual Help 48"
This 48-inch Our Mother of Perpetual Help statue honors the Marian title made famous by a beloved Byzantine icon venerated in Rome. In 1866 Blessed Pius IX entrusted that icon to the Redemptorists with the charge to make her known throughout the world, and weekly Perpetual Help novenas soon spread to parishes in many countries. In the icon the Child Jesus clings to His Mother's hand as archangels hold the instruments of the Passion. Her feast falls on June 27.
At 48 inches, she is well suited to a chapel, a side altar or a classroom, and many parishes place her where the weekly novena is prayed. She can also stand in a grotto on church grounds.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color are offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
