Pope John XXIII 49"

This 49-inch Pope John XXIII statue portrays St. John XXIII, born Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, the son of farmers from Sotto il Monte who was elected Pope in 1958 and was loved everywhere as "Good Pope John." He convoked the Second Vatican Council, opened it in 1962, and wrote Pacem in Terris on peace among nations. Pope Francis canonized him on April 27, 2014, and his feast is kept on October 11, the anniversary of the Council's opening.

At 49 inches, it has the presence for a church sanctuary, a parish hall, or a school entrance, and it holds its own outdoors on parish grounds, in a school courtyard, or beside a walkway on a Catholic campus.
