The Purple Scapular of Benediction and Protection was made known through Marie-Julie Jahenny, the Breton mystic of La Fraudais, in 1878. One panel carries the Pietà, the other the crown of thorns and the nails, and the promises attached to it concern protection of the household — against storm, disaster and violence.
This is the smaller wearable version, roughly 2" x 1.5", made for people who want it on them rather than on a wall. Both panels carry the full detailed images. The larger display size is sold separately for hanging near the door of a home.
