Risen Christ 118"

This 118-inch Risen Christ statue proclaims the heart of the Christian faith: the Lord who died on the Cross rose from the tomb on the third day. The Resurrection is God's victory over sin and death and the pledge of our own rising; as St. Paul wrote, if Christ has not been raised, our faith is in vain. Easter, the Solemnity of Solemnities, is celebrated for fifty days, and every Sunday is a little Easter. The Risen Lord sends His disciples to proclaim the good news to all nations.

At 118 inches it is scaled for a church facade, a grand sanctuary, a parish plaza, a Catholic cemetery or a university or school campus, where it can be seen from a distance as a witness to the Resurrection.
