Risen Christ 60" with base & flag

This 60-inch Risen Christ statue with base and flag shows the Lord triumphant over death, bearing the banner of victory that Christian art has long given to the Resurrection. The banner is the ensign of the King who has conquered sin and the grave, as the Easter Sequence sings: Death and life have contended in that combat stupendous; the Prince of life, who died, reigns immortal. It is the image of Easter joy that the Church celebrates for fifty days, from Easter Sunday to Pentecost.

At 60 inches it commands a sanctuary during the Easter season, a church entrance or a prominent spot on parish grounds, and it can stand in a cemetery as a sign of the resurrection of the body.

Comes with base & flag.
