Rosa Mystica 19"
Three roses on the breast: white for prayer, red for sacrifice, gold for penance. The title Rosa Mystica is centuries old, from the Litany of Loreto, but the figure comes from Montichiari in northern Italy, where Pierina Gilli described the apparitions of 1947 — and the roses replacing three swords.
The devotion asks for prayer and reparation for priests and religious in particular. Nineteen inches is parish and oratory scale, and the size chosen for the Hour of Grace kept at midday on 8 December. Available in several finishes.
