Under the title Rosa Mystica, the Mystical Rose of the Litany of Loreto, Mary asked at Montichiari for prayer, sacrifice and penance, signified by the white, red and gold roses she wears on her breast. Her feast is kept on July 13, and the Hour of Grace she requested is observed from noon to one on December 8, the Immaculate Conception.

Thirty-eight inches puts her at the height of a grotto or garden shrine, a convent chapel, a side altar or the entrance hall of a religious house. She weighs about 9 lb.
