Rosa Mystica 66"
This Rosa Mystica statue, a 66-inch image of Mary, Mystical Rose, honors a title Catholics have sung for centuries in the Litany of Loreto. The rose speaks of Mary's beauty, purity and love, the flower that bore Christ. In the twentieth century the devotion spread widely through reported visions to Pierina Gilli at Montichiari, Italy, whose accounts describe three roses, white, red and gold, calling for prayer, sacrifice and penance. The faithful turn to her especially for priests and consecrated souls.
At 66 inches it has the presence for a sanctuary, a church entrance, a convent or seminary, or an outdoor Marian shrine or rosary garden on parish grounds or in a cemetery.
