Rosa Mystica 8"
This 8-inch Rosa Mystica statue honors Mary as the Mystical Rose, a title the Church prays in the Litany of Loreto. The popular image, with three roses of white, red and gold on her breast, grew from devotion associated with Montichiari, Italy, in the 1940s, where the roses were explained as prayer, sacrifice and penance. The faithful turn to the Mystical Rose for the renewal of priestly and religious life and for the conversion of hearts.
Its 8-inch size suits a nightstand, a bookshelf or a small home altar, and it is a lovely gift for a religious sister, a priest, a Confirmation candidate or a woman named Rose or Rosa.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
