Sacred Heart of Jesus 44"
This 44-inch Sacred Heart of Jesus statue presents Christ revealing His Heart, traditionally encircled by thorns and crowned with flame as a sign of His burning love for mankind. The devotion took its modern shape in the visions granted to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque at Paray-le-Monial between 1673 and 1675, where Our Lord asked for reparation, Communion on First Fridays and a feast in honor of His Heart. The Church keeps that solemnity on the Friday after the Second Sunday after Pentecost.
At 44 inches it anchors a side altar, parish chapel, prayer room or Catholic school classroom, and it can keep watch over a grotto or church courtyard. It is also a meaningful wedding gift for a couple enthroning the Sacred Heart in their married life.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Fancy Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
