Sacred Heart of Jesus 88"

This 88-inch Sacred Heart of Jesus statue sets before the faithful the Heart that has so loved mankind, crowned with thorns and aflame with divine love. Between 1673 and 1675 Christ revealed this devotion to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque at Paray-le-Monial, promising blessings to homes and hearts consecrated to Him. The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart falls on the Friday after the Second Sunday after Pentecost, and the First Fridays, acts of reparation and the enthronement of the Sacred Heart all flow from these revelations.

At 88 inches it is scaled for a sanctuary, a church entrance or the center of parish grounds, and it serves as a landmark in a Catholic cemetery, on a hospital campus or in a school courtyard.
