St. Anthony 17"
This 17-inch St. Anthony statue honors St. Anthony of Padua, the Franciscan friar Catholics everywhere call on when something is lost. Born in Lisbon, he joined the Franciscans after five friars were martyred in Morocco, and he became so powerful a preacher that he was canonized less than a year after his death in 1231. His feast is June 13, and the faithful ask his help in finding lost things, in recovering lost faith and in caring for the poor.
Its size suits a home altar, a desk, a bookshelf or a prayer corner, and it is a welcome gift for a new home, a Confirmation sponsor or anyone who keeps asking St. Anthony for help.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
