St. Anthony 43"
This 43-inch St. Anthony of Padua statue honors the Franciscan preacher on whom the whole Church calls to find what has been lost. Born in Lisbon in 1195, Anthony joined the Friars Minor, preached with such power that he was called the 'Hammer of Heretics,' and died at Padua in 1231. He was canonized within a year, named a Doctor of the Church in 1946, and is honored on June 13.
At 43 inches he suits a side altar, a chapel, or a school hallway shrine, and he fits naturally in a parish garden or grotto, where the faithful leave petitions for his help.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color are offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
