St. Anthony 48"
This 48-inch St. Anthony of Padua statue honors the Franciscan preacher whose sermons won back souls and whose help the faithful still seek whenever anything is lost. Born in Lisbon, Anthony joined the friars after seeing the relics of the first Franciscan martyrs, and he preached across Italy and France until his death at Padua in 1231. Canonized within a year, he was named a Doctor of the Church in 1946. His feast is June 13, and parishes give St. Anthony's Bread to the poor in his name.
At four feet he suits a chapel, a side altar, a Franciscan friary, or a parish food pantry, and he watches well over an outdoor grotto where petitions are left at his feet.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color.
