St. Charbel 20"

This 20-inch St. Charbel statue honors St. Charbel Makhlouf (1828–1898), the Maronite monk and hermit of Lebanon who lived in silence, fasting, and prayer at the hermitage of Annaya. After his death his body remained incorrupt, and thousands of healings have been reported at his tomb. Canonized by Pope Paul VI in 1977, he is remembered on July 24 and is traditionally depicted in his dark monastic habit and hood.

Suited to a home altar, prayer corner, or bedside shelf, it is a meaningful gift for someone who is ill, for a Maronite family, or for anyone seeking his intercession.

Finish options: Standard Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color. Standard Full-Color is offered for interior or exterior placement; Fancy Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
