St. Corona 10"
This 10-inch St. Corona statue honors the early Christian martyr venerated as the Patroness of protection against pandemics. Tradition holds that Corona, a young woman, was put to death in the second century after she encouraged the soldier St. Victor to remain faithful under torture. Her relics are honored at Feltre in Italy and in Aachen Cathedral in Germany, and her feast, shared with St. Victor, is kept on May 14.
Its 10-inch size fits a home altar, a nightstand or a nurses' station shelf, and it is a thoughtful gift for health care workers, caregivers and families praying for protection from illness.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
