St. Dominic 73"

This 73-inch St. Dominic statue honors the Spanish priest who founded the Order of Preachers in 1216 to answer error with truth and holiness of life. Dominic de Guzmán preached tirelessly in southern France, begged for his friars and wished to speak only to God or about God. Catholic tradition closely associates him with spreading the Holy Rosary. His feast is August 8, and he is patron of astronomers and of the many Dominican schools, parishes and communities around the world.

A commanding presence for a church entrance, a sanctuary or the grounds of a Dominican priory or school. It also suits a parish courtyard, a campus quad or a cemetery, and can anchor an outdoor rosary garden.

Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Fancy Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
