St. Francis of Assisi 134"
This monumental 134-inch St. Francis of Assisi statue honors the poor man of Assisi who embraced Lady Poverty, rebuilt the Church at Christ's command, and received the stigmata on Mount La Verna in 1224. Founder of the Friars Minor and author of the Canticle of the Creatures, he is patron of Italy, of animals, and of ecology. His feast on October 4 is marked in many parishes with the blessing of animals.
At 134 inches, this is a landmark piece for a basilica, a Franciscan friary, or the entrance of a large parish. Outdoors, it can command a church plaza, a cemetery, or a school courtyard.
The St. Francis of Assisi statue measures 134".
