St. Francis Xavier 71"

This 71-inch St. Francis Xavier statue honors one of the first companions of St. Ignatius of Loyola and among the greatest missionaries since the apostles. Sailing east in 1541, he preached in India, the Malay world, and Japan, baptizing many thousands, and died in 1552 while waiting to carry the Gospel farther still. Remembered on December 3, he is co-patron of the missions with St. Thérèse of Lisieux.

At 71 inches it suits a church sanctuary, the entrance of a Jesuit school or parish, or mission grounds, and it stands well in a school courtyard or on parish grounds.
