St. John Vianney 42"

This 42-inch St. John Vianney statue honors the Curé of Ars, the humble French parish priest who became the patron of all parish priests. Ordained in 1815 after great struggles with his studies, he was sent to the small village of Ars, where he spent long hours every day in the confessional as penitents came from across France. He died in 1859, his feast is August 4, and priests and seminarians ask his help to be faithful shepherds of souls.

At 42 inches it suits a parish chapel, a side altar, a seminary hall or a rectory entry, and on the grounds it can stand in a grotto; it is a fitting gift for a priest's ordination anniversary.
