St. Joseph w/lily 11"
The lily in this 11-inch St. Joseph with Lily statue is his traditional emblem, a sign of the chaste and faithful love with which he guarded the Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus. A later legend tells that among Mary's suitors, Joseph's staff alone burst into bloom. The Church honors him on March 19 and May 1 and invokes him as patron of fathers, workers, and the universal Church.
At 11 inches he fits a desk, a home altar, or a bookshelf, and he makes a thoughtful gift for Father's Day, a new father, a wedding, or a family blessing a new home.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
