Father of Tenderness 32"
This 32-inch Father of Tenderness statue portrays St. Joseph in the tender love he showed the Child Jesus, a quality Pope Francis highlighted in his apostolic letter Patris Corde. Calling Joseph a 'tender and loving father,' the Pope reminded the faithful that Jesus saw in him the tender love of God, the Father who is slow to anger and rich in mercy. This image of St. Joseph invites fathers and all who care for children to reflect that same patient, protective love.
At home on a side altar, in a chapel or in a family oratory, and well suited to a pregnancy resource center. A touching gift for a new father, for Father's Day or for the feast of St. Joseph.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
