St Joseph with child 35 inches
This 35-inch St. Joseph with Child statue shows the foster father of Jesus holding the Christ Child, the image that best expresses his vocation to guard and nurture the Son of God. Joseph, a descendant of David and a carpenter of Nazareth, took Mary as his wife and raised Jesus as his own, teaching Him prayer and work. He is patron of fathers, families, workers and the universal Church, and his solemnity on March 19 falls in the heart of Lent.
Sized for a chapel, a side altar, a Catholic school classroom or a family oratory. It is a treasured gift for a new father, a priest's ordination anniversary, or a family consecrating itself to St. Joseph.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
