St Jude 39"

This 39-inch St. Jude Thaddeus statue shows the Apostle holding his medallion and staff, the attributes by which the faithful recognize him. Traditionally counted among the relatives of the Lord, Jude wrote the short Epistle that bears his name and, according to tradition, died a martyr after preaching the Gospel. He is the patron of hopeless cases and impossible causes, and countless Catholics make novenas to him in times of illness, unemployment and family trouble. His feast, shared with St. Simon, is October 28.

A good size for a side altar, a parish chapel or a devotional shrine where petitions are left, and for a school or hospital chapel. A family can also give him a place of honor in a large home oratory.

Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
