St. Martha 35"

This 35-inch St. Martha statue honors the friend of Jesus who welcomed Him into her home at Bethany with her sister Mary and her brother Lazarus. The Gospel remembers her busy service at table and, more deeply, her profession of faith at Lazarus's tomb: 'Yes, Lord, I have come to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God.' Her memorial on July 29 now honors Martha, Mary and Lazarus together, and she is patroness of cooks, homemakers, servers and all who practice hospitality.
