St. Martin of Porres 11"
The 11-inch St. Martin of Porres statue honors St. Martin de Porres of Lima, the Dominican lay brother born to a Spanish father and a freed mother of African and Indigenous descent. He served the sick and poor with tireless charity and was known for his humility and his care for animals. Canonized in 1962, he is patron of social justice, barbers, and people of mixed race, with his feast on November 3.
At 11 inches, he fits a home altar, a parish social-ministry office, or a classroom shelf. He is a meaningful gift for someone in healthcare, a Confirmation candidate, or a volunteer who serves the poor.
The St. Martin of Porres statue measures 11".
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
