St. Michael the Archangel 18"

Defender of the Church and guardian of souls at the hour of death, the prince of angels is portrayed in this 18-inch St. Michael the Archangel statue. Scripture names him in Daniel, Jude, and Revelation, where he and his angels fight the dragon and cast him out of heaven, and artists traditionally show him armed and triumphant over Satan. The faithful call on him against temptation and evil, and the Church keeps his feast, with Gabriel and Raphael, on September 29.

It fits a home altar, a family room shelf, or a parish office, and it is a fitting gift for Confirmation, a first responder, or a military family; it can also guard a small garden shrine or front entry.
