St. Michael the Archangel 56" with dragon

This 56-inch St. Michael the Archangel statue shows the prince of the heavenly host triumphing over the dragon, the ancient serpent of Revelation 12 who was cast down from heaven. Michael, whose name asks "Who is like God?", is invoked as defender of the Church in the prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII: "St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle." He shares a feast with Gabriel and Raphael on September 29 and is patron of police officers, soldiers and the dying.

At this scale it commands a church entrance, parish grounds, a police or military memorial, a school courtyard or a cemetery. Indoors, it gives a sanctuary or narthex a powerful reminder of spiritual protection.

Overall height is 60". The St. Michael figure itself is 48" tall, and from the base to the top of his head measures 55". Can come with a dragon base or a rock base. The words on the shield are customizable for a minimal cost.
