St. Patrick 32"
The Apostle of Ireland, the fifth-century bishop who brought the Gospel to the land where he had once been a slave, is remembered in this 32-inch St. Patrick statue. Captured from Britain as a teenager, Patrick herded sheep in Ireland for six years, escaped, and returned as a missionary bishop, baptizing thousands and founding churches across the island. Tradition credits him with using the shamrock to teach the Holy Trinity, and the prayer known as his Breastplate is still loved today. His feast is March 17.
At 32 inches it suits a chapel, a side altar, a parish hall or a school classroom, and it can stand outdoors in a grotto or garden shrine on the grounds of a church dedicated to him.
