St. Paul 12"
The Apostle to the Gentiles is honored in this 12-inch St. Paul statue. Once Saul, a persecutor of the Church, he was stopped by the risen Christ on the road to Damascus and became the tireless missionary whose letters fill much of the New Testament. He was martyred in Rome, traditionally by the sword, which with a book became his emblem. The Church celebrates his conversion on January 25 and his feast with St. Peter on June 29.
At 12 inches he suits a desk, a home altar, or a parish office, and he is a fitting gift for a Confirmation candidate who chose Paul as patron, a catechist, a missionary, or a writer.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
