St. Peregrine 20"

This 20-inch St. Peregrine statue honors Peregrine Laziosi of Forlì, the Servite friar whom Catholics invoke as patron of those suffering from cancer. After a conversion in his youth, he gave his life to prayer, penance and care for the sick. When a grave wound in his leg was to be amputated, he spent the night in prayer before an image of the crucified Christ and, according to tradition, awoke healed. He was canonized in 1726.

Its 20-inch height fits a home altar, a hospital chapel shelf or an oncology ministry office, and it is a compassionate gift for someone facing a diagnosis, treatment or recovery, or for a family keeping vigil.

Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
