St. Peter the Apostle statue, 32 inch, hand-painted resin

St. Peter 32"

This 32-inch St. Peter statue honors the fisherman of Galilee whom Christ made the rock on which He would build His Church. Simon, renamed Peter, confessed Jesus as the Messiah, denied Him three times and was forgiven, and after Pentecost led the apostles as the first bishop of Rome, where he was martyred under Nero. Traditionally shown with the keys of the kingdom of heaven, he is celebrated with St. Paul on June 29 and is patron of popes, fishermen and countless parishes.

At 32 inches it suits a chapel, a side altar, a parish hall or a classroom, and it can stand in an outdoor grotto or garden shrine on the grounds of a parish dedicated to him.

Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color are offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
