St. Peter the Apostle statue, 45 inch, hand-painted resin

St. Peter 45"

This 45-inch St. Peter statue honors the fisherman of Galilee whom Christ made the rock of His Church: “You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.” Impetuous, loving, and forgiven after his threefold denial, Peter became the first Pope and died a martyr in Rome, crucified upside down according to tradition. His feast with St. Paul is June 29, and the Chair of St. Peter is celebrated on February 22.

At nearly four feet St. Peter suits a chapel, a side altar, a rectory, or a seminary chapel, and he stands well in an outdoor grotto at a parish named in his honor.

Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Fancy Full-Color is offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
