St. Philomena 16"
This 16-inch St. Philomena statue honors the young virgin martyr whose remains were discovered in the Catacomb of Priscilla in Rome in 1802. Devotion to her spread quickly after her relics were brought to Mugnano, Italy, and St. John Vianney, the Curé of Ars, credited her with countless favors, calling her his 'dear little saint.' Known as the Wonder-Worker, she is invoked especially by young people and by those facing difficult causes.
At 16 inches she fits a home altar, a young person's bedroom, or a youth ministry room, and she is a thoughtful Confirmation gift, especially for a girl who has chosen Philomena as her patron.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
