St. Thomas Aquinas 34"

This 34-inch St. Thomas Aquinas statue portrays the Dominican friar and Angelic Doctor whose theology still guides the Church's teaching. Born about 1225 near Aquino in Italy, he studied under St. Albert the Great and wrote the Summa Theologiae, uniting faith and reason with rare clarity. He also composed the Eucharistic hymns for Corpus Christi, including the Pange Lingua, whose closing verses form the Tantum Ergo. His feast is January 28, and he is patron of Catholic schools, students, teachers and universities.

At 34 inches it suits a school chapel, a library, a classroom or a side altar, and on a college campus it can stand in a garden grotto where students pause before exams.
