St. Vincent de Paul 48"

This 48-inch St. Vincent de Paul statue honors the priest of seventeenth-century France who became the Church's great apostle of charity. Vincent founded the Congregation of the Mission to preach to the rural poor and, with St. Louise de Marillac, the Daughters of Charity to serve the sick and abandoned. Pope Leo XIII named him patron of all charitable societies, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, founded by Blessed Frederic Ozanam in 1833, still bears his name. His feast is September 27.

At 48 inches, he suits a parish chapel, a side altar, a Catholic school or the entrance to a food pantry or Vincentian conference office, and he can stand in a grotto on church grounds.
