Compact 10-inch by 8-inch panels make up this set of 15 Stations of the Cross: fourteen scenes of Christ's Passion and a closing station of the Resurrection. The devotion, rooted in pilgrimages along the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, lets the faithful accompany Jesus step by step as He meets His Mother, receives Simon's help, consoles the women of Jerusalem and dies on the cross. It is prayed in Catholic parishes on the Fridays of Lent, and many families pray it at home as well.
