The Tabernacle 10 is a tabernacle for reserving the Blessed Sacrament, the sacred place where the Body of Christ is kept after Mass for Communion to the sick and dying and for the adoration of the faithful. Its name comes from the tent of meeting in which God dwelt among Israel in the desert. Before it a sanctuary lamp burns day and night as a sign of Christ's abiding presence.
