Tabernacle 4
The Tabernacle 4 is a tabernacle for the reservation of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the dwelling place of Christ's Real Presence in a church or chapel. The Church reserves the Eucharist so that Holy Communion can be brought to the sick and dying, and so that the faithful may adore the Lord apart from Mass. Church law calls for the tabernacle to stand in a prominent, worthy and prayerful place, with a sanctuary lamp burning nearby to honor the Presence within.
It serves a parish church, an adoration chapel, a convent, a hospital chapel or a new mission church, and it is a lasting memorial gift for a family or benefactor to give their parish.
