Virgin of Peace 15"
Our Lady, Queen of Peace, is honored in this 15-inch Virgin of Peace statue, a title the Church has long given to the Mother of the Prince of Peace. In the midst of the First World War, Pope Benedict XV added the invocation "Queen of Peace, pray for us" to the Litany of Loreto in 1917, entrusting a wounded world to her care. Families pray before her for peace in their homes, reconciliation between loved ones, and an end to violence among nations.
A 15-inch figure rests easily on a home altar, mantel, or bookshelf, and it makes a meaningful gift for a wedding, a new home, or a family seeking healing after a season of conflict.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
