Virgin of Peace 41"
Mary, Queen of Peace, the Mother who brings the Prince of Peace to a wounded world, is the subject of this 41-inch Virgin of Peace statue. Pope Benedict XV added the invocation "Queen of Peace, pray for us" to the Litany of Loreto in 1917, while the First World War raged, and Catholics have turned to her under this title ever since. Families and parishes pray before her for peace among nations, for soldiers far from home, and for reconciliation in their own households.
At 41 inches it suits a chapel, a side altar, a parish hall or a Catholic school classroom, and it can also anchor a Marian grotto or peace garden on church grounds where passersby stop to pray.
Finish options: Monotone, Standard Full-Color, Premium Full-Color, and Fancy Full-Color. Monotone and Standard Full-Color are offered for interior or exterior placement; Premium Full-Color and Fancy Full-Color are offered for interior placement only. Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
