Virgin of the Streets 60"

This 60-inch Virgin of the Streets statue honors Mary as the Mother who walks with her children along the roads of daily life. The title recalls the Roman devotion to the Madonna della Strada, Our Lady of the Way, so dear to St. Ignatius of Loyola that her image was enshrined in the Jesuit mother church, the Gesù. Travelers, commuters, pilgrims, the homeless and all who spend their days on the streets can entrust themselves to her care, confident that she guides every journey to her Son.

At 60 inches it can stand at a church entrance, along a parish walkway, in a plaza or courtyard, at a cemetery gate, or in a sanctuary, greeting everyone who passes on the way in and out.
