Adoring angels kneel. The posture comes from the angels of the Nativity and of the tabernacle, who bend toward the Presence they attend, and the Church has placed such figures beside the altar since the early centuries. This twelve-inch angel kneels with wings folded down, its attention on whatever it is set before.
Small enough for a home altar, a mantel or a nursery shelf, the twelve-inch adoring angel is often bought in pairs to flank a crucifix or a Nativity, and given singly for a Baptism, First Communion or a child’s bedroom.
Price is per angel, with standard gold or silver colored wings. Made of a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and hand-painted by artisans, each statue finished individually.
