Adoring Angels 25 inches

This 25-inch Adoring Angels statue depicts the heavenly spirits who stand before the throne of God in ceaseless worship, as Isaiah and the Book of Revelation describe them. In Catholic churches, adoring angels have long been placed on either side of the altar or tabernacle, a visible reminder that the angels join us at every Mass and bow before Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament. The Church honors the Guardian Angels on October 2 and the Archangels on September 29.

Placed in a pair, they frame a tabernacle, a side altar or the altar of an adoration chapel. A single angel also suits a home altar or memorial display, and they can be set outdoors to flank a grotto or garden shrine.
