Assumption 61"

This 61-inch Assumption statue celebrates Mary's entry, body and soul, into the glory of heaven, the mystery the Church has long kept on August 15 and that Pope Pius XII defined as dogma in Munificentissimus Deus. Traditionally she is shown rising upon clouds, often borne by angels, her eyes lifted toward her Son. The Assumption is the fourth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary.

At 61 inches she can stand in a sanctuary, at a church entrance, on parish grounds, or in a cemetery, where she reminds mourners of the glory promised to the faithful.
