Baby Belen 16"
This 16-inch Baby Belen statue is a figure of the Christ Child of Bethlehem, Belén in Spanish, the town of David where the Savior was born and laid in a manger. In many Latin American homes the Niño is rocked and laid in the Nacimiento on Christmas Eve, then dressed and presented at church on February 2, Candlemas, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. The image celebrates the humility of God made man.
It completes a home or parish Nativity scene, rests on a home altar through the Christmas season, and makes a heartfelt gift for godparents, a young family or a household that keeps the Niño Dios tradition.
Stands 16" tall.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
