Twenty-one inches, described by our workshop as life-size, this Baby Belen is the Christ Child for a full-scale Nativity. The Belen figure comes from the Iberian and Latin American tradition of the Christmas crib, where the Child is placed in the manger only when the feast arrives.
Parishes use this size in the church Nativity, in a chapel manger for the Christmas season, or for the procession of the Child at Midnight Mass; families with a large crèche keep one at home. It is a gift a parish remembers.
