Baby Belen 21"
This 21-inch Baby Belén statue, the Niño de Belén or Christ Child of Bethlehem, shows the newborn Savior as Mary laid Him in the manger. In many Catholic homes, especially in Hispanic families, the Child is placed in the crèche on Christmas Eve, sung to with lullabies through the season, and presented at church on the Feast of the Presentation, February 2. He reminds every household that God came to us small, poor, and approachable.
It is a reverent centerpiece for a home or parish nativity display, a home altar, or a church crèche, and it makes a cherished gift for a family's first Christmas or for godparents chosen as padrinos del Niño.
Life-size; stands 21" tall.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand. +++
