Baby Jesus (#5)
This Baby Jesus (#5) statue honors the Word made flesh, the Christ Child whose birth in Bethlehem the angels announced as good news of great joy for all the people. Across Catholic cultures the infant Jesus is welcomed with special love: laid in the family crèche on Christmas Eve, sung to in carols, and in many Hispanic homes dressed anew and brought to church for blessing on the feast of the Presentation. Devotion to the Holy Child teaches the humility and trust He asks of His disciples.
It is a lovely figure for a home Nativity, a family altar, or a bedside shelf, and a meaningful gift for a baptism, a new baby, or a family keeping the Niño Dios tradition.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
