Baby Jesus (#5.5)
This Baby Jesus (#5.5) statue presents the newborn Savior, the eternal Word who became a little child in Bethlehem so that we might become children of God. The Infant laid in the manger is the heart of the Christmas crèche, a custom St. Francis of Assisi made beloved at Greccio in 1223. Before Him the shepherds and the Magi knelt, and before Him families still kneel on Christmas night.
It is made for a church or home Nativity scene, a Christmas altar display, or a classroom crèche, and it makes a tender gift for a baptism or a family's first Christmas together.
Made from a lightweight, durable resin-fiberglass blend and painted by hand.
